  1. The founder of Ferrari was Enzo Anselmo Ferrari who was born in Modena, Italy, on February 18, 1898.
  2. The first car manufactured by Ferrari was the Tipo 815. Enzo Ferrari created this model in 1940 when he left the Alfa Romeo racing team who he had raced and designed for. He could not call it a Ferrari art the time because he was still officially under the contract of Alfa Romeo.
  3. The two-seated Gran Turismo’s have always been the most popular model of Ferrari. These were produced between 1949 and 2007.
  4. The horse symbol of Ferrari is a tribute to Francesco Baracca. He was a pilot in World War One and would paint a similar image of a horse on his plane. Sadly, he had died in combat. Ferrari met Baracca’s mother after his death and she asked him to use this symbol on the cars he created.
  5. ‘S.F.’ is also written on the Ferrari badge. This stands for Scuderia Ferrari. Roughly translated, this means Ferrari racing Stables.
  6. The fastest Ferrari ever made is the F60. This made its debut in April 2002. It can go from 0 to 100 miles an hour in 3.2 seconds.
